2020年9月11日,习近平总书记在科学家座谈会上勉励科研人员坚持四个面向——面向世界科技前沿、面向经济主战场、面向国家重大需求、面向人民生命健康。二十大报告中也强调基础研究在创新驱动发展战略中的源头作用。面向人民生命健康,是建设健康中国题中应有之义;如何做好新时代基础医学研究,则是广大基础医学研究者面临的时代之问。为了激发大家对这一问题的思考,我将以课题组近些年的研究工作为引子,谈一些粗浅看法,抛砖引玉,供大家交流讨论。
